What is your minimum order?
For cakes within Goldsboro, NC there is no minimum order. Orders outside of Goldsboro, NC are subject to a $200 minimum. Orders outside of the state of North Carolina are subject to a $500 minimum.
Are you able to accommodate clients who are gluten free, vegan, or have other dietary restrictions?
While our production space is not a certified gluten free kitchen or vegan space, we can make a pretty tasty cake for people with those and other dietary restrictions! If a product with dietary restrictions has been ordered, we will do our best to ensure that it is kept away from possible allergens, however, wheat, soy, dairy, eggs, etc. are frequently used and may come in contact with your restricted product. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you are interested in placing an order, however, please make an informed decision regarding your personal restrictions and whether we are the best bakers for you! We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have!
My event isn’t in North Carolina. How far away will you deliver?
If we can drive to your event, we will deliver! At this time we do not fly with cakes. There may be added costs to deliveries outside of North Carolina and central Virginia.
My wedding is small. Do larger events get preferential treatment?
No! All events are booked first come, first served.
Can I order a faux or real cake from you and then serve my guests cake from a grocery store or another cake designer?
We do offer faux cakes, however, we politely decline to participate in events unless our cake is served exclusively for the event. Because we strive to maintain a reputation of excellence, outsourcing extra serving cakes to a third party while using a Maryanne Harris Cake as a display, or as partial servings is not an option. We are more than happy to recommend other cake vendors who may be able to accommodate your needs. This does not apply to other dessert options such as ice cream, dessert bars, cheesecakes, etc.
Can I visit your shop?
At this time there is no retail space. Each order is custom made just for you!
